INDIAN WELLS, CA – MAY 7, 2014 –THE WELL® Spa, an award-winning luxury spa at Miramonte Resort & Spa by Destination Hotels & Resorts, introduces the organic “Farm-to-Table Body Scrub.”  This new and unique treatment incorporates wholesome natural ingredients of fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs for their scrub-based benefits that can be combined to maximize the desired outcome for one’s skin.

With a daily selection of eight to ten fruits and vegetables coming from locally grown produce and the property’s fresh herb garden and lemon trees, the ingredients are freshly combined with olive oil and an exfoliating salt or sugar base.  Different mixtures produce specific results. For example sage moves toxins, increases blood flow and beaks down cellulite, while lemons act as an anti-inflammatory and brighten skin with nourishing vitamins C and K.

The experience of the “Farm-to-Table Scrub” engages the senses of smell and touch. It is invigorating and relaxing all at the same time while leaving the skin soft and glowing.  Following the scrub the guest is treated to a Vichy shower rinse and application of all-natural coconut shea butter.
