ASPEN MEADOWS RESORT OFFERS A VARIETY OF SUMMER PACKAGES

ASPEN, Colo. (July 17, 2012) — Summer in the mountains is a cherished time for many—it’s too short with one too many activities to accomplish in a few months. As a result, Aspen Meadows Resort is offering several packages to give guests the opportunity—and excuse—to explore Aspen this summer.

Outdoor Enthusiast
Colorado is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and Aspen Meadows has teamed up with Aspen’s number one outdoor adventure outfitter, Blazing Adventures, to offer a variety of outdoor activities for families and couples. Sunset dinner tours, AV exploring, hiking, biking, rafting and horseback riding are all ways guests can immerse themselves in Aspen’s beautiful surroundings. The package includes discounted lodging plus an excursion for two with Blazing Adventures. Guests can enhance their experience by using the resort’s on-site pool, running trail and tennis courts.

Explore Aspen
Enjoy Aspen by foot with the award-winning Aspen Walking Tours. Tours are interactive and prove to be a memorable experience for guests. Options include “Aspen's DarkSide Tour,” “Aspen's Past to Present Tour” and more. The package includes discounted lodging and two tickets to an Aspen Walking Tour of your choice.

Soundtrack to Summer
Aspen is full of music this summer and Aspen Meadows is making it easy to enjoy the sounds of the season. Enjoy classical and chamber music with one of the many Aspen Music Festival & School performances at the renowned Benedict Music tent or Harris Concert Hall (both located on the Aspen Meadows property) happening through August 19. Or experience the amazing line up at the Jazz Aspen Snowmass festival over Labor Day weekend boasting acts such as Mumford & Sons, Sugarland, Steve Miller Band and Kid Rock. Had your eye on a specific performer? Check out the Belly Up, Aspen’s intimate music venue with a resume of world-renowned artists as well as up-and-comings. This package includes discounted room rates and a picnic blanket that doubles as a seat cushion. Stay four or more nights and receive a picnic backpack stocked with necessities, including a bottle of wine.

All packages include a free shuttle to and from downtown as well as Aspen Pitkin County Airport. Guests also have full access to Aspen Meadow’s gym, family-friendly pool and hot tub on property. Some packages require a minimum night stay and 4-day advance booking is required.
